Back-to-Back Quadruple Champion

We are proud to announce that Hafdís Renötudóttir, Straumlind employee and national-team goalkeeper, has achieved outstanding success on the handball court. She recently became a EHF European Cup champion with Valur, and the team secured four titles this season for the second year in a row.

Hafdís’s team captured the following titles:

• EHF European Cup Champions - the first women’s team in Icelandic handball history to win a European title!

• Icelandic Champions

• League Champions

• Champions of Champions

On top of that, Hafdís was voted “Most Valuable Player of the play-offs” for the second year in a row and was also named “Best Goalkeeper of the Olís League,” again for the second year in a row.
